Win a Free Book on Cathy C. Hall's Blog

Cathy C. Hall, one of the funniest and most generous writers in the blogging community, has a contest going on over at her blog.

She is giving away a copy of  "Chicken Soup for the Soul: Boost Your Brain Power" to one lucky blog follower who leaves a comment suggesting a way to keep your brain cells actively engaged.

While you're leaving a comment on Cathy's blog and becoming a follower --- if you aren't already one --- be sure to check out some suggestions others have left.

The always wise and witty Sioux Roslawski has left a funny one, and the deep thinker Madeline Mora-Summonte left a suggestion I'm going to try today.

Good luck if you enter!

  2. Oh, Donna, I don't think anyone has ever called me a "deep thinker" before. :)

Be careful if you do the standing on one leg thing - it's not as easy as it sounds. At least it wasn't for me. :)

    1. Hi Madeline,
You are right; it's not that easy.
I thought about trying the standing on one foot thing in the shower too but thought I might fall.

  3. My brain power could use more than a boost. It needs a downright shove. Love to win a copy of Boost Your Brain Power.

  4. ALWAYS wise and witty? What are you putting in that coffee--a little bit of Irish?

  5. Hi Alice,
Hahahaha. You need to stop by Cathy's blog for a chance to win.

    Hi Sioux,
I think you're wise and witty, but I write fiction. We exaggerate sometimes (um most of the time). And no coffee for me, it's tea and only tea. Speaking of a bit of Irish; a neighbor of mine in Massachusettes (originally from Irland) drank Irish tea on Friday nights--black tea with sugar, spiked with whiskey. Oona was my one and only neighbor who ever knocked on my door and asked to borrow a bottle of whiskey rather than a cup of sugar.
