Anne Hillerman and her friends at Wordharvest are keeping alive the tradition of her late father through the 2009 Hillerman Prize Contest. The deadline is June 1.Here are the basics: Novel length mystery manuscript by an author who has never published a mystery (Self-published is usually OK) Story set in the American Southwest Postmarked no later than June 1, 2009 No entry fee Prize: Publication sponsor, St. Martin's Press with a $10,000 advance.
